Sung in French with English supertitles
In Georges Bizet's most famous opera, Carmen is a factory girl who does some smuggling on the side. Don Jose is a soldier entrusted with upholding the law. Their fiery passion brings out Jose's impulsive side and he deserts the army to be with her. But Carmen is fickle and will not be tamed. The arrival of a handsome bullfighter intrigues Carmen and send Jose on a spiral of jealousy that can only lead to tragedy.
