Liebovar or The Little Blind Girl, is an orginal story by Philadelphia-area composer Misha Dutka. In the story, all the children mysteriously disappear, except one, a little blind girl. It is up to her, and a few magical forest friends, to find them! Together they will sing, dance, and outwit an evil ogre lurking in the trees.
The performance features choreography by Anne Margaret O’Malley, artistic director for Flamenco Y Más. A select group of O’Malley’s students will open the program with Flamenco Family Fun, a delightful presentation celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month.
